The Classroom Center, home to the COB, continues to undergo massive renovation. The COB and other departments have been out of the building since last December, and temporarily housed in the Old Fine Arts Building. Aside from a few quick glances through errantly open doors, few have any idea what it looks like inside our once busy halls.

The COB recently commenced building an online database of course syllabi. The system will be built over Summer 2008 using syllabi from summer courses in the pilot test. By Fall 2008 a user interface will be available for students, faculty, and any of our various external publics to examine our course syllabi.

The Texas A&M Board of Regents has approved our downtown Amarillo Center location, to be housed on the 10th and 11th floors of the Chase Building. This prime downtown location is convenient for nearly everyone in Amarillo, especially downtown workers. It is also near a number of trendy restaurants and night spots that will provide students with multiple options both before and after class.

Amarillo, here we come! Starting in Fall 2008 we will be offering courses in downtown Amarillo. Our first offering will consist of 13 MBA and upper-level BBA courses. We plan to offer MBAs and BBAs in Amarillo in the coming semesters, utilizing the same great faculty we have in our Canyon campus and online courses.
